Amanda and Lamont met in high school.  Lamont set up an instructional massage at Spa East in Philadelphia.   The proposal was a total surprise and is also available to watch on youtube.com: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdRbiyPlmQw  Cescaphe ballroom caught Amanda and Lamont's eye through the elegance, wonderful service and just an absolutely beautiful venue!  Amanda and Lamont love to watch football together ( GO EAGLES!) bowling, movies, and entertaining friends.  Honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

Marissa & Justin September 27, 2008

Marissa and Justin met in high school and dated.  Justin went away to play hockey for 7 years and then one day, their lives crossed paths again at Chickie and Pete in 2004.  The day before Marissa's birthday on March 18th, they were down the shore.  Justin gave Marissa a gift, which she thought was going to be a birthday gift, but to her surprise...it as a ring!  They loved the ballroom here at Cescaphe and also our food and service sealed the deal when looking for a place to hold their reception.  Justin and Marissa enjoy going to the beach and hanging out with friends.  They are on a Mediterranean Cruise through Italy for their honeymoon...so jealous!

Kelly & Carl September 28, 2008

Kelly and Carl met through mutual friends in Philadelphia seven years ago.   Kelly and Carl's friends mean so much to them, that Carl proposed during dinner one night with all their friends there too!  A good friend of Kelly and Carl also recommended the Curtis Center for their wedding.  These two love birds enjoy trying new restaurants, traveling, shopping, gardening, and of course spending time with their family and friends.  They wanted an elegant feel to their reception along with lots of candlelight.  Off to the Dominican Republic!

Courtney & Gregory September 27, 2008 Curtis Center

Courtney and Gregory were set up by Courtney's cousin who is good friends with Gregory.  They had a very romantic engagement.  Courtney and Gregory were vacationing in Europe and while in Paris as they were walking along the Seine River, Gregory proposed!  They chose to have their wedding reception at the Curtis Center because of wonderful reviews that we have received.  This couple enjoys going to the beach, traveling and trying out new restaurants.  They wanted a romantic, elegant feel to their wedding and are honeymooning in Tahiti!

Jessica & John September 20, 2008 Curtis Center

Jessica and John met through a mutual friend.  The day that they were engaged, the whole day was filled with romance and it ended with a sunset dinner overlooking the bay and a surprise engagement ring for Jessica!  After Jessica and John saw the Curtis Center, they fell in love with it because of the room's unique and modest look.  Jessica and John enjoy going down to the shore, going out to dinner, hanging out with friends, and going to Disney which is also one of their stops on their honeymoon.  Also, they will be traveling to St. Lucia.

Rachel & Andrew September 21, 2008

Rachel and Andrew met in Prague!  Andrew was visiting a friend studying abroad and Rachel was also there studying and was living across the hall from the Andrew's friend.  Andrew was away on a trip and surprised Rachel by coming home early to only pop the question and they jumped on a plane to Cabo, Mexico, which they had originally planned but now they were vacationing as newly engaged!  Rachel and Andrew really liked the outdoor area that we provide to our couples for their cocktail hour.  They were really looking for something different but in an all in one package.  This happy couple enjoys traveling, eating out, going to the movies, playing tennis, hanging out with friends, and exploring New York City, where they currently reside.  The theme to their wedding was precious metals with a little bit of funk and elegance to it.  Off to South Africa for their exotic honeymoon.

Megan & Daniel September 19, 2008

Megan and Daniel went to high school together and were reintroduced at Megan's matron of honor's wedding.  Daniel was so anxious to propose that while he was driving, he pulled over and asked Megan Megan to marry him.  He wanted to wait until St. Patty's day to do it but ended up doing it in January because he couldn't wait until March.  Megan and Daniel decided to have their wedding ceremony and reception with us because of a friend's recommendation.  These two love going to the beach together and their wedding was an Irish-Romantic theme.  Off to Aruba to honeymoon!

Holly and Thomas met at a mutual friends party.  They were engaged at home.  They wanted to have their wedding reception at Cescaphe Ballroom because of the elegance and the reputation.  Holly and Thomas enjoy spending time with their family and dining out.  Their overall theme for their wedding is "Two Hearts Become One".

Jimmy and Kathy met through friends.  They were engaged on New Years Eve at The Palm casino out in Las Vegas.  They enjoy dancing, vacationing, and dining out.  Jimmy and Kathy are honeymooning in Marco Island, Florida.
