Megan & Greg January 17, 2009 Curtis Center

Megan wrote her own story and here are her words:

Greg and Megan met during their freshman year of high school at Gloucester Catholic.  During the summer before their senior year the magic all began with a kiss at the Q102 concert.  They were engaged when all of a sudden white Christmas lights illuminated the roof of Megan's childhood house and she began to cry.  She thought Greg had decorated the house for her.  When she looked closer the lights on the rooftop spelled, "MARRY ME".  She thought, " Marry Me.  Marry Me.  This is the moment I have been waiting for!" When she turned to Greg he was down on one knee and said, "Megan we have dated for over the course of eight years and I have loved you from the moment I met you.  I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I want to have kids with you, I want to grow old with you and I want to die with you.  Will you marry me?"  After tears and a moment of feeling overwhelmed, excitement and shock Megan said, Yes, yes I will marry you!"  Megan and Greg choose Cescaphe because of the elegance and the over the top grandness. Their overall theme for the wedding was sweet romance.  Megan and Greg love spending time with their families and enjoying homemade delicious food, traveling, and cheering for their hometown Philly teams!  The couple is honeymooning in Jamaica.

Dana & Kevin January 10, 2009 Curtis Center

Dana and Kevin got engaged over Valentine's weekend.  They went to Cape May, NJ and they stayed at Congress Hall.  They went to a BYOB, had a terrific dinner and then they went back to their hotel to share champagne where Kevin proposed.  Dana and Kevin enjoy spending their summers in Sea Isle, NJ.  They chose to have their wedding reception at the Curtis Center because they had heard so many great things about Cescaphe that they had to check it out and then when they saw the Curtis Center, they knew it would be perfect for them.  Dana and Kevin are honeymooning at Curtain Bluff in Antigua.

Becca & Joe January 10, 2009

Becca and Joe met three years ago at work.  They still work together on the same team and the only thing that separates them at work is one cubicle wall.  Joe popped the question to Becca at home.  She was out and when she came home, Joe was there with rose petals, champagne and the ring!  Becca and Joe had heard amazing things about Cescaphe Ballroom and then after they came to check us out...the felt that there was no other choice.  This couple enjoys skiing, watching movies, traveling, bowling, redecorating their home, and of course, going to work!  They are honeymooning in Hawaii!

Cristin and Drew's sisters were friends in high school and Cristin and Drew met at a family function were Cristin was raising money for her dad's memorial scholarship.  Drew said that Cristin ignored him but he called her the next day.  This two were engaged in a castle in Dublin, Ireland.  After dinner the waitress came down to the bar area in the castle and told them that they were needed upstairs in the restaurant.  When they went upstairs, there was champagne, candles and flowers waiting for them!  They loved the Italian feeling that Cescaphe has, they said that it reminded them of their favorite Italian restaurant and that's why they chose Cescaphe for their wedding.  This couple wanted a Black Tie wedding...everything black and white.  Cristin and Drew enjoy going to sporting events, traveling, watching movies and playing with their Dalmatians.  Off to Costa Rica to honeymoon!

Jaimie & Michael December 28, 2008

Jaimie and Michael met at work and they both work in the Real Estate industry.  Michael proposed to Jaimie at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Las Vegas.  They chose to have their wedding at Cescaphe Ballroom because they had attended a friend's wedding that was married with us and they fell in love with the food and the elegant and beautiful atmosphere.  For their wedding, they had a Christmas and Paris theme.  This couple enjoys going out to dinner, love hearing live bands play, and some of their favorite times are at home relaxing.  They are honeymooning in Paris, of course!

Elise & John December 19, 2008

Elise and John met through a mutual friend.  Elise and her went to a party at John's house.  Initially Elise wasn't romantically interested in John, but she says that his persistence paid off!  Two of Elise's favorite things are photographs and the Jersey shore. John proposed to Elise in a photobooth on the Wildwood boardwalk.  The proposal was captured on film...so cute!  Elise's mother already knew that she wanted to have Elise's and John's wedding at Cescaphe Ballroom even before they were engaged!  She had just heard about us and wanted to book!  Elise and John wanted a black and white wedding at Christmas time.  They love to go to the shore, attend concerts and shows and go to Phillies games.  They are honeymooning in Rome, Italy.
